Lupin, Sesame & Turmeric Crumbed Tofu With Sweet & Chili Sauce



• 200g firm tofu

• 1 egg, whisked

• 1/4 cup lupin flakes

• 1/4 cup black and white sesame

• 2 tsp turmeric

• Salt and pepper

• Cooking oil (coconut / rice bran / olive oil)

Cut tofu into squares 5cm x 5cm or half that for bite size as snack. Mix turmeric, lupin flakes, sesame seeds, salt and pepper into a small bowl. Heat a nonstick pan with oil, dip tofu into the egg, remove and crumb with sesame and lupin mix. Shallow fry for 1-2 minute on each side until golden. Serve with salad, noodle or rice.



• 6 large pitted dates

• 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

• 1 tb tamari sauce

• 1 tb sesame oil

• 2 tb olive oil

• 1 birdeye chili, desseded

Place all ingredients into a blender.
